Independent research
This session encourages postgraduate researchers to apply a recognised process for reviewing the literature and ensures that they are aware of and know how to access the range of sources available to them. Acknowledgment will also be made of the need to potentially widen their search beyond BCU Library & Learning Resources, and will highlight where such resources and services might be found.
Participants will learn how to develop an effective search strategy, and how to evaluate which sources of information are relevant to their research project.
Duration: 40-60 minutes
Delivery: In person or online
