Getting started
This session introduces students to the various types of information which are available to them as they begin looking for academic evidence to support their assignments.
Along with highlighting such resources as books, journals and websites, students will be encouraged to evaluate and think about the appropriateness of using such evidence within their research.
The rest of the session will focus upon using Library Search specifically to find reliable academic information sources.
Our Getting Started session combines sharing of brief theory through a presentation, along with a live demonstration of searching.
