How to book study space

Booking Study Space

It is no longer essential to book a space to gain access to the library. However, the booking system remains in place for individual and larger collaborative study spaces at Curzon and Mary Seacole libraries.

For campus library opening times please visit libcal.bcu.ac.uk 

To book a study space:

1. For more information and to book a study space visit https://www.bcu.ac.uk/library/services-and-support/book-a-space

2. Click on 'Book study space'

3. Select which campus you wish to book study space at, then select if you would like silent or quiet zone, and if you need a PC, then click on show availability. You can also book the accessible study room here if you have access to this.

4. A list of study spaces will appear for the current day, use the calendar to select a different date or click 'next available.'

5. Available slots are shown in green, click on the green block to select your required start time then scroll to select your required finish time.

6. Press the Submit button and check the booking details, then click on continue. 

7. Enter your name, BCU email address, student or staff number, then on click submit my booking

8. A confirmation email will be sent to your University email address. If you do not see it in your Inbox, please check your junk mail folder.

9. If you need to cancel or amend your booking you can do so by clicking the link in the email.
