Digital Literacy is an incredibly important set of skills in the modern world. Recognising your own strengths and weaknesses will help you improve on the skills you have academically, professionally and personally. Birmingham City University are offering access to the Digital Skills @ BCU Discovery Tool to help you evaluate and boost your digital literacy. Regularly visiting the tool will help you monitor your progress, and measure the differences you are making.

4 female librarians in front of shelves of booksThe Customer Services librarians are available via chat, or you can pop into Curzon Library 11 am - 4 pm Monday-Friday and visit us at the help desk. We can offer guidance and support in searching, referencing, and using the library resources. Library Advisors are available Monday-Friday 9 am - 6 pm for general library queries.


James Dean is your Learning, Teaching, and Research Librarian. He can offer 1:1 support in finding and using information for assignments, referencing, and making the most of our specialist resources. Book a tutorial with James.
