Media: Journals and Articles
A journal is a regular publication (monthly, yearly, etc.) in which you will find academic and research articles. Journals can be a great source of current research on your subject or a window into perspectives from a particular time period.
Many academic journals are considered more reliable sources because they go through a peer review process.
Academic journals are usually peer-reviewed
Peer review involves experts in the field assessing the strength of a piece of work, usually an article or book, prior to publication. It is generally considered a mark of relevance, originality and credibility.
