- Association of Speech and Language Therapists in Independent Practice (ASLTIP)ASLTIP has two main functions:

Secondly, to support Speech and Language Therapists in independent practice. - British Association for Applied Linguistics (BAAL)BAAL is a professional association based in the UK, which provides a forum for people interested in language and applied linguistics.
- British Voice Association (BVA)The BVA is a group of multidisciplinary professionals working to promote the field of voice, raise awareness through education and research, and provide support to those with vocal problems.
- Cleft Lip and Palate Association (CLAPA)CLAPA is the only UK-wide voluntary organisation specifically helping those with, and affected by, cleft lip and palate.
CLAPA was set up in 1979 as a partnership between parents and health professionals. It provides support for new parents, and for people with the condition and their families, from infancy through to adulthood. - The Cleft Registry and Audit Network (CRANE Database)The Cleft Registry and Audit NEtwork (CRANE) Database collects information about all children born with cleft lip and/or cleft palate in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. This database was set up by the Department of Health in 2000.
