Link to Digital Skills Tools

Library and Learning Resources (L&LR) encourages all students, staff and researchers to continually improve their Digital Literacy. To help individuals assess and improve their skills, we promote and make use of the JISC Discovery Tool. BCU students can self-enrol on the Moodle Course Discover your Digital Skills to access the tool and learn new skills via our collection of resources. Staff members can use the Discover Your Digital Skills Staff Toolkit to link the Discover your Digital Skills Moodle Site to your course and also embed digital capabilities into the curriculum.

New Collection Discovery is available via Library Search and designed to enable user to experience our collections visually. New collections including BCU Authors, Study Skills Resources and Resources for Researchers (A collection of books/ ebooks to support researchers across the university, and to highlight the Library’s collection of research material, e.g. Research Design, Qualitative Research, Quantitative Research, Mixed Methods Research and for Doctoral Researchers, Writing for Researchers, and Research Ethics).
