Personal Development Department at City South Campus

Academic Development Group

The Faculty of Health, Education and Life Sciences Academic Development Group is based at the City South Campus and helps students achieve their personal goals, make the most of their skills, and realise their full potential while at University.

The PDD can support you to develop across the two broad areas of academic writing and numeracy applied to practice. This support can be workshops and small group or individual tutorials, related to academic writing, critical analysis, literature searching skills (see the Literature Searching Workshops box on this page), referencing and numeracy.

There is also English Language Support for students whose first language is not English.
