  Databases

Specialist online resources give you access to articles, technical reports, professional guidance and information to support your studies. There are guides to using some of the databases - click on the question mark button next to the link.

BCU's Digital Library also provides access to past exam papers, examples of final projects and digitised chapters and articles relevant to your course.

  Journals

Journals cover a range of sources, including newspapers; magazines and scholarly publications.  News and research around your subject area are usually published first in journals.

A journal can be useful:

  • to find up-to-date information

  •  to find our what has been researched on your topic

  •  to find information that points to other relevant research

You can search by article title, journal title or keyword on the library website. Print-only journals are available in your campus library.

If the article you need is not accessible directly from this University, you can request it via Inter-Library Loan.

  • CSCMP Supply Chain Quarterly (Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals)

  • Proceedings of the Logistics Research Network annual conference in September (LRN 2021 held 8-10 September 2021 in Cardiff) are in theory held in the CILT UK archive on the LRN Papers page. However, this is currently unavailable. This should include papers presented at the 23rd annual conference held at Plymouth University in September 2018 and the 24th annual conference held at the University of Northampton in September 2019. The eLRN2020 Special Web Conference was held via Zoom and hosted by Cardiff Business School.
